Regenerative properties of Wharton's Jelly
One of the scientific and research fields that Cellivia is developing is regenerative medicine based on umbilical cord Wharton's jelly-derived cells. This material is a reservoir of cells that can be used in regenerative and reconstructive treatments. They can also give rise to differentiated cells from the endoderm, mesoderm and ectoderm. Our goal is to obtain stable populations of liver, pancreas, cartilage, bone, fat, heart muscle, skeletal muscle, endothelium and nerve cells. These cells can be used in the regeneration of bone and cartilage, diseases of the cardiovascular system, pancreas and liver and selected diseases of the nervous system, derived from the differentiation of cells from Wharton's jelly.
