With the development of regenerative medicine, there was a need to store, i.e. bank patients' tissues and cells. Banking gives access to advanced therapies that are used where traditional medicine does not find optimal solutions. In order to use them, it is necessary to have access to a specific type of patient's cells, which can be obtained during particular medical and dental procedures and at a certain age.
DENTAL PROCEDURES
Dental treatments enable banking procedures
Tissue and cell banking is available to all patients who are scheduled to undergo a planned dental treatment or dental surgery, including:
Milk tooth extraction
Removal of a permanent or milk tooth for orthodontic reasons

RECONSTRUCTION AND REGENERATION

Cellivia is carrying out a research and development project on the use of primary cells obtained from the dental pulp for regeneration and reconstruction of human tissues. Until now, they have been sampled mainly from bone marrow and blood. Recent studies, however, show the enormous potential of cells obtained also from the dental pulp or gums.
